[Harry Potter] Daylight

"How long must a person search in the night before becoming strong enough to glimpse the light of day?"

"You are the gospel on my thorny road, the once-in-a-lifetime chance I could never have hoped for, and my change of fortune in the long night between life and death."

"You are the only anchor keeping me connected to the world."

I met my beloved in a cabin in the Norwegian forest.

She was like a faded photograph, like a wisp of mist impossible to grasp in the morning sunlight.

1/ Original mixed-blood lioness x pure-blood badger. A girls' love couple. The romance is slow-burn and subtle, with a focus on soulmates rather than physical sensations. A chaste story.

2/ Lots of original characters and plot. Warning: original characters die; ending is tragic. Limited vocabulary.

3/ First person, from the bottom's perspective. Sinveiya is not a likable character, especially in the early and middle parts. If you can't accept that, remember to run.

4/ Please don't give me writing advice. Everyone's ending has already been decided, and I discussed the character settings with friends and we agreed they made sense.

5/ Not closely connected to the main plot, with almost no overlap except for the holy war and The Chosen One.

6/ One of the BG side couples is a brother and sister. They don't get much page time, but it's hard to ignore them.

Theme: I want to touch the light of day.
