What's Wrong with Using Cheats Because RPGs Are Too Hard?

Because of work, I can only do my best to update once every three days until at least August. If that bothers you, feel free to wait until it's complete before reading. Hugs!

[Release Notice]

This story will be available for purchase on Sunday, May 15. I'll post three chapters that day.

Thanks for all your support, cuties. Hugs!!!

Question on Zhihu: What's it like to be surrounded by hot guys who've turned evil, all confessing their love to you?

Female lead, who prefers to remain anonymous: Thanks for asking. I'm devoted to my childhood friend, because ours is pure love!

White-haired little-sunglasses DK / black-haired weird-fringe DK / the one and only designated JK healer / muscular pretty boy and others downvoted.

Uncle's Stroll is a variety-pack RPG.

Its selling points are exquisite character models and illustrations, beautifully polished CGs, and enough freedom that almost every player's experience differs by at least 5%. You can even propose to someone on the street and get an ending.

However, beneath its seemingly simple turn-based combat lurk all sorts of dangers, including but not limited to twelve random QTEs in three seconds, roadside mobs dealing lethal damage just by brushing past you, and getting inexplicably wanted and reaching a death-sentence ending in a world with no death penalty...

Naturally, game trainers were developed in response.

Kuri Kizuki Kuusou is currently unemployed and living at home.

At the invitation of a friend who prefers not to be named, she stumbles into the world of Uncle's Stroll without knowing what she's getting into.

After spending the entire evening failing the twelve QTEs she encounters three minutes into the game, she opens the forum with a blank expression, finds a trainer, and clicks download.

Once she's finally cheating, Kuri Kizuki Kuusou manages to get past the first challenge. She goes through a flurry of actions, but when she checks the results...

"YOU+DIED." "YOU+DIED." "YOU+DIED." "YOU+DIED." "YOU+DIED."

Kuri Kizuki Kuusou: ...

Kuri Kizuki Kuusou: I'm tired. Let's destroy everything.

Kuri Kizuki Kuusou: (clutches her cute and dependable cursed-spirit childhood friend.jpg)

DEAD+END list:

1. Rookie Out of Her Depth (Death END)

2. Death Sentence (Death END)

3. Piano Puppet (Death END)

4. The Wolf and Sheep Game (Daddy BE)

Death endings and victims are increasing at an astonishing rate.

"Every encounter will give rise to new possibilities."

"Every possibility will lead to its corresponding ending."

"Go meet more people."

"Among the countless branches created by the miracle called possibility, there will always be one path that leads to the perfect ending you dream of."

A little skit posted after my childhood friend and bestie pressured and bribed me (?):

Victim list (not in romance route order):

[Bad Examples]

Daddy: Once, I had a sincere love in front of me (but I got a bad ending because her phone wouldn't connect)

Kikufuku: But I didn't cherish it (my phone worked perfectly, but I still got a bad ending)

I Hate Monkeys: I only regretted it once I lost her (I hung up on her, so I got a bad ending)

Retire After Making Enough Money: Nothing in this world is more painful (when she confessed to me, I asked her for money, so I got a bad ending)

[Good Examples]

The Technical College's One and Only Healer: If Heaven would give me one more chance (I wouldn't let those two DKs near her)

What Kind of Man Do You Like?: I'd say three words to that girl ("Call me teacher")

Childhood Friend: I love you (I'll love you forever)

Senpai: If I had to put a time limit on this love (don't, thanks)

???: I hope it lasts ten thousand years (lol)

Reading Guide:

1. No logic, OOC, and the author's writing and intelligence are both terrible. Treat the in-game world as a parallel universe to the original work.

2. The pairing isn't decided yet. It'll depend on who I find easiest to write. One-sided crushes are guaranteed. It's a power fantasy with an overpowered protagonist. If she loses, it's just for the show. If you don't like that, don't read. Original characters may turn evil in all sorts of ways. If you dislike that, please leave. Thank you.

3. Other anime may appear as Easter egg side quests or endings at any time in the story. For example, the heroine might debut as a school idol to save Jujutsu Tech from its budget crisis (don't believe that).

4. The goal is for everyone to survive, except the heroine.

Theme: Becoming a better version of yourself through meeting and spending time with others
