As the only son of an evil god, Luo Chenxing has dreamed since childhood of destroying the world and inheriting his family's glorious legacy one day.
But apparently, being a villain takes a certain amount of talent.
After failing his final assessment, Luo Chenxing can only accept an additional test from the Lord God if he wants to graduate. He must travel to the worlds of novels and play the villain, driving the protagonists toward a bad ending in which everyone dies.
In the first book, you're a brutal ancient emperor who forcibly separates a couple, leading to the protagonist gong's death in battle and the protagonist shou's suicide.
In the second book, you're a traitorous interstellar spy who gets the protagonist gong and shou falsely imprisoned, then brings in the Zerg to massacre a city, leaving no survivors.
In the third book, you're a zombie in the apocalypse...
Luo Chenxing looks up at the System floating in midair, face full of question marks. "Wait, I'm a zombie? The kind that drools, moans, and bites people everywhere?"
"Uh... yes... But I didn't pick these books," the System says, sounding aggrieved. "How about asking His Lordship the Lord God, Host?"
Luo Chenxing thinks about the Lord God's stern, unsmiling face and can't help shuddering. "Never mind. A zombie it is. No matter what, as long as I follow the original plot and achieve the bad ending where everyone dies, I'll pass, right?"
"That's right, Host."
"Great, easy peasy!" Luo Chenxing says confidently, puffing out his chest.
"I'm exhausted. What is this supposed to mean? Why am I the only one taking the plot seriously..."
Luo Chenxing looks at the protagonist gong and shou, standing at daggers drawn, each tugging on one of his hands, and feels a headache coming on.
"Stop fighting. I'm not biting either of you. Go back to the human base and put up a proper resistance!" Luo Chenxing says fiercely.
"Why? Don't you want me to become a zombie and stay with you forever?" the protagonist shou asks, eyes red.
"I'm not going back," the protagonist gong says concisely. "Not unless you marry me."
???
In an ivory-white palace, the Lord God Moer flips through a novel with an intrigued look and says calmly, "Let's pick this book for the next world."
"Ah, Your Lordship, this one... has a lot of people in it..." The System looks troubled.
"Don't worry. I know what I'm doing." The Lord God's lips curl into a faint smile, and the palace instantly fills with gorgeous lilies in full bloom.
