A Juggling Montage

Cui Ming is hailed as one of Huaguo's greatest directors, with countless awards to his name.

But his life was marked by controversy. His works were often full of violence, gore, and sex, making it hard for him to work in Huaguo, where censorship is strict.

Someone once joked that you were more likely to find his films on an obscure movie site than in a theater.

The controversy surrounding him wasn't limited to his films; his private life was also the subject of scandal.

On August 11, 2037, mired in a sex scandal, he took his own life at home, the day before his birthday.

Cui Ming never married or had children, yet when he died, there wasn't a single person by his side.

The person closest to him was an assistant director he'd worked with for many years, but they had fallen out before his death.

The greatest director of the modern age: despite all the controversy, he was still the greatest.

His audience will remember him forever.

Remember Cui Ming.

It is now April 4, 2022, fifteen years before Cui Ming's suicide.

That year, Cui Ming sold his first screenplay, raised his first bit of funding, and prepared to shoot his first film.

And on that day, Qiu Jing'an encounters the System and learns what will happen fifteen years later. It asks him:

"Do you want to become a film emperor?"

1. Qiu Jing'an x Cui Ming, actor gong x director shou.

2. Neither of them is a virgin, in case anyone cares.

3. There will be lots of films within the story.
