Late Summer

I look at all those glowing lights. Each one is home to a family, and I can't help imagining what their lives might be like.

Are they happy? In pain?

Are their lives simple? Complicated?

Are they full of hope? Left with nothing but despair?

Do they want to change? Will they never change?

Even when they feel they can't go on, do they keep going for someone else's sake?

Oh, life isn't easy at all

I say the things people say, but I can't truly understand how they feel.

A tragic ending. Short story, roughly updated daily.

Nothing but heartbreak.
