Not Becoming Barbecue, I'm Running for My Life

Here's the thing: I'm a carefree little deer living on the continent of Larga. My daily routine consists of sunbathing, munching on grass, figuring out how to pick apples from trees, and stealing carrots from Old Wang next door. Ahem, borrowing! I mean borrowing!

I thought my life would pass by peacefully and happily like that, until I discovered...

While I was sunbathing, this country's Hero was chopping up my neighbor with a huge sword.

While I was munching on grass, the Hero was hunting pigs a hundred meters away, then building a campfire to roast the meat. Its delicious aroma carried for miles, making my mouth water.

As I was figuring out how to pick apples from a tree, the Hero rode past on a white horse, leisurely following the road beside it. His clear, sky-blue eyes stayed fixed on my agile body...

No way. He isn't planning to roast me too, is he?!

My suspicions peaked when I picked up a bounty notice left beside the grill!

[Old Wang next door is furious that his carrots keep getting stolen. A reward of ten silver coins for catching the carrot thief! Also: The Hero has accepted this quest. If you don't want your brains bashed out, turn yourself in at once!]

"!!!"

So I was right! He really is plotting against me!

I'm afraid he won't just bash my brains out, he'll tear off all four of my legs and roast them too!

Oh Deer God, why is venison so delicious and nutritious? The forest is no longer safe! There's no time to lose. I have to run right now
