The Villainess Should Be Raising the Demon Lord

[Cultivation prodigy: cool, sweet, and levelheaded young lady x ruthless, taciturn, devoted Demon Lord]

When Jiang Chuyue was injured and unconscious, she had a dream.

In the dream, the world she lived in was nothing more than a melodramatic novel.

Her proud childhood sweetheart and fiancé was the male lead, while her frail cousin, a sweet little white lotus, was the female lead.

As for her, she was just a vicious supporting character, forever rushing into one face-slapping incident after another to push their romance along.

In the end, her spiritual roots withered away and her meridians were shattered.

Jiang Chuyue woke up: What? No way.

-

As she watched the events from her dream come true one by one, Jiang Chuyue decided to tear up that lousy script.

Just as she was wondering whether to strike first against the little white lotus, the girl's gaggle of worshippers surrounded her first.

At their head was her fiancé, his face full of grief and indignation. "Chuyue, all you lost was the chance to get a top-grade flying sword, but Nuannuan's face was injured!"

Everyone looked at her with condemnation, as if she were an unforgivable sinner.

Jiang Chuyue laughed in anger.

What did that novel call her again?

The villain?

Then she might as well do what a villain should.

-

That day, amid the crowd's curses, Jiang Chuyue jumped off Wangyou Cliff.

Of course, she wasn't trying to end her life.

She crossed the barrier and used her blood as a catalyst to break the seal on the Spirit-Locking Formation.

And so, when Pei Zhao, the Demon Lord who had slept for a thousand years, awoke, the first thing he saw was a young woman in a red dress, her hair as dark as night.

Her clothes were torn in several places, revealing snow-white skin covered in wounds.

She was clearly in a sorry state, yet her eyes blazed like bright flames.

"I broke your seal, so now you're mine." Jiang Chuyue studied him from a short distance away, then tilted her head and smiled. "I'll take care of you from now on."

Pei Zhao: What? Do you think I'm a dog?

Not long after...

Pei Zhao: Yue'er, woof woof!

#A proper villain would obviously choose to unleash the great demon and let him wreak havoc everywhere!#

Theme: Face hardship with determination and never give up
