Yinghuo

In the spring days of April, the peach blossoms beside the mountain temple had only just begun to bloom.

Songyin had just survived a car accident by a hair. She followed her friends up the mountain to pray at the temple.

The instant the temple bell rang, she saw an abrupt snowfall on the mountain's back slope.

A girl with loose silver hair and breathtakingly beautiful features stood barefoot, holding an open umbrella blanketed in thick white snow. Her eyes met Songyin's.

The next moment, the cold vanished, and the bright spring scenery returned.

Songyin rubbed her eyes and muttered, "No way. Can you run into a ghost even at a temple?"

At first, Songyin prayed to the gods and Buddhas, hoping the female ghost beside her would disappear as soon as possible.

Later, she climbed the steps, kowtowing at each one, praying only that among the three thousand candles, one would burn for Yinghuo.
