[Hebrew] The Chancellor of Heaven Wants to Do His Job Properly Today, Too

I am Metatron, God's representative and Heaven's scribe.

All of Heaven knows that I, the prime minister of the celestial realm, am an irredeemable workaholic, devoted to working 996007.

When Adam and Eve ate the forbidden fruit, I was reviewing documents.

When the Messiah and the angels were at each other's throats, I was looking over the reports.

When the Seraphim leader angrily fell from Heaven, I was calculating the taxes.

I was away for only a moment, and two-thirds of Heaven's angels were gone.

Me: ???

Raphael, eyes brimming with tears: Your Highness, I understand. You couldn't bear to leave Heaven, so you stayed behind. But His Highness Lucifer has already fallen. You two can't be together!

Me: ??? Did you get the wrong idea? Lucifer and I are strictly colleagues!

Michael, also teary-eyed: Being separated from the one you love must be painful, Your Highness. Look back. God is always watching over you!

Me: Have you finished reviewing those documents? Get back to work!

Facing the concerned looks of my remaining coworkers and Hell's nosy questions,

I continue to work with a smile today.

Who the hell is spreading rumors everywhere, making up stories about my love life and writing me a melodramatic, star-crossed romance?!

Overtime means a pay cut!!!

Lucifer: Actually, the crown for the Demon Queen is ready. Hell welcomes you to fall whenever you like.

Lucifer: We could get married for political reasons, too.

Metatron: (draws sword JPG)

The title might change. I'm absolutely terrible at coming up with titles (forces a smile).

The pairing isn't decided yet. Anyone could be a possibility. Want to place your bets?
