After transmigrating into a princess, Zhu Huaiying is ecstatic.
Doesn't this mean she can live off the royal family forever? Maybe she can even get herself a pretty boy to play cards with. What could be better?
But she has transmigrated into the Ming Dynasty, where a princess who marries a commoner is expected to become a widow. The good news is that her father, the Hongzhi Emperor Zhu Youtang, has only one wife, her mother Zhang, and one daughter, Zhu Huaiying. She's doted on endlessly. The bad news is that her father will die from overwork, her mother from depression, her brother from illness, and her younger siblings in infancy. Within the court, there are troublesome relatives and meddlesome ministers; beyond it, there are the Tatars, the Jurchens, and islanders living pretty well for themselves.
Princess Yifeng Zhu Huaiying, whose heart races with each new twist of fate: I should become a nun as soon as possible, then find a crooked old tree to hang myself from. That tree on Coal Hill looks pretty good...
Even so, Zhu Huaiying sets to work studying her alchemy System, completing tasks and making miraculous elixirs to save her family.
Zhu Youtang: Ever since I started taking my precious daughter's elixirs, my back doesn't ache, my legs don't hurt, and I can review a hundred memorials in the morning and afternoon sessions combined.
Zhu Houzhao: Raise ten more leopards for me! Ten tigers! And...
Empress Zhang: Yingying, there's also your maternal grandfather and uncles...
Zhu Huaiying: ? I cured you all so you could behave like this?

Princess Yifeng Zhu Huaiying, the first princess of the Hongzhi era and the apple of the emperor and empress's eyes. She prefers Taoist robes to women's finery, and studies alchemy instead of The Women's Rules. Her lifelong idol is the Medicine King, Sun Simiao. She often makes medicine for her parents and brothers, leaving the Grand Secretariat with headaches and the censorial officials sighing.
To stop Princess Yifeng from using elixirs to harm the emperor, empress, and crown prince, the ministers unanimously decide to hurry up and petition the emperor to marry her off. But before they can, Princess Lingci has become a Taoist nun and continues making elixirs, sometimes asking the crown prince to pass them along for the ministers to try.
The ministers: ... Help!
And so the Ming Dynasty grows strong again amid the smoke and flames of Princess Lingci's alchemy.
Little scene
Zhu Huaiying: Cousin, let's make elixirs together.
Zhu Houcong: ? Are you trying to set me up?

Blurb 1
Food and lifestyle blogger Zhu Zhihua transmigrates into a princess. She has two career paths ahead of her. The first: die young. The second: marry some ugly guy in the future, then wait for her husband-killing father to make her a widow.
As they say, better your friend than yourself. Zhu Zhihua's first choice is obviously the second one. Luckily, her eldest nephew has already ascended the throne before she has to make her choice. He only brings misfortune to his uncles, not his aunts, so Zhu Zhihua can finally forge a third path for princesses: farming.
The ancient world has no modern conveniences or entertainment, and Zhu Zhihua has lost both her parents, with money and a home of her own. She lives alone in a vast palace. The impulse in every Chinese person's blood won't let her leave a single plot of land unused!
Zhu Zhihua has barely been carrying her hoe for long when she suddenly hears someone shout, "The Prince of Yan is raising an army in the name of Jingnan!" Only then does she realize something is wrong.
Zhu Zhihua: ... Now I have to go grow wheat in the north. I've only just harvested one crop of rice!
Zhu Di: My poor little sister, abused so badly that she has no choice but to spend every day farming! How could anyone be so cruel to a child? The traitors must be executed! We march in the name of Jingnan!
Everyone: The traitors must be executed! We march in the name of Jingnan!
Zhu Zhihua: ? Damn it. A kind of crop.
Blurb 2
A new emperor brings a new era. Zhu Zhihua goes from a little cabbage, yellow in the field, to a genius cutie and a lucky darling, basking in the love of her emperor brother, crown prince nephew, and grand prince nephew.
Zhu Di: Little sister, stop growing rice. Let's go plant wheat in the north!
Zhu Gaochi: Auntie, come pet my Flowered University Scholar!
Zhu Zhanji: Grand-aunt, look how big the crickets I raised in your field are!
Zhu Zhihua: ... Whoever wants this blessing can have it!
Empress Xu: Who dares bully Zhuozhuo!

In the early Yongle era, the princess was raised in the palace, where the emperor and Empress Renxiao cherished her above all. She was skilled at farming and tilled the soil herself within the palace. When the rice ripened, she presented it to the emperor. The crown prince cooked it until it was burnt black as charcoal, and the grand prince wept. The emperor and Empress Renxiao laughed. The emperor said, "The rice is burnt and wasted. The princess must be angry. What will you do, Crown Prince?" The princess took the ladle and replied, "I won't burn it again."

The little princess is sixteen years old, in the flower of her youth, and good at playing in the mud in the fields. Everyone knows that the Chinese bloodline buff is farming (not really).

Theme: Stay by your family's side and get through hardships together.
The Zhang family is really disgusting. Jiajing killed them in the end, which is really satisfying.
I feel like Xiaozong really regards the Zhang family as family, but they only regard Xiaozong and even Empress Zhang as a cash cow. I really don't like it.
It's been a long time since I updated. When will I become a monk? [Laughing and crying]
He Wending is indeed resented by these two people named Zhang.
Voldemort must have a mother who favors boys over girls
My sister is the doctor that the prince will trust from now on.
After all, the heroine wants to become a Taoist priest. Even if she doesn't know how to heal, she can still recruit a large number of Taoist doctors.
It's a very nice article, but it's a shame.
Sister, why don't you update it? It's well written.
Children born with the one you love can give adults motivation. Many adults feel that seeing children will only make them more annoying.
The author was greatly troubled by the word "male protagonist"~
