A peek at my next novel with a pre-registration page: "The Saintess Coveted by Monsters [Male Alpha, Female Omega]"
Xia Xia was stranded in the mountains by the terrible weather. Her companion, who had mysteriously disappeared the day before, had somehow returned safe and sound. But it didn't take long for Xia Xia to realize that the person who came back wasn't her companion at all.
He wasn't even human. He was a monster wearing a human skin.
The monster dragged its mutated, swollen fanged maw toward Xia Xia, inch by inch, slowly repeating conversations she had once had with her companion. Even its voice and intonation were exactly the same:
"Xia Xia, give me a chance. Will you be my girlfriend?"
That person... had once been her admirer.
Xia Xia trembled all over, too afraid to speak. Seeing that she didn't answer, the monster made no move to hurt her. Instead, it licked her face over and over with its slick, soft, thorn-covered tongue.
Xia Xia curled into a ball, wishing she could be deaf and blind forever. But to stay alive, she decided to play along for now. "Okay, I'll give you a chance! But I have some conditions, too!"
"Rule number one for being a perfect boyfriend: you can't kill your girlfriend. Can you do that? If you can't, we're breaking up right now!"
"Rule number two: you also have to protect your girlfriend from harm, got it? If you can't, we're breaking up, too! And there's more. Rule number three: wherever your girlfriend tells you to go, you have to, "
Before Xia Xia could finish, the monster silently withdrew its tongue and let her go.

Xia Xia (angrily): "What do you mean by that? Are you seriously taking a half-step back? Even humans can manage these simple demands. Are you telling me you can't?!"

Weren't these all basic skills for farming-game players? Qiao An'an selected every option without hesitation, successfully making the cat butler's fur stand on end.
Just as Qiao An'an had lit up her basic skill panel and was about to begin her farming adventure with a beat-up hoe in hand, the cat butler opened the lottery screen for her.
"Dear master, the beginner's pool is now open. The chance of drawing a special-grade tool, such as a hoe, pickaxe, fishing rod, or feed, is 1.25%. New players get a 30% discount on their first 30 draws, meow~"
Qiao An'an, who had always been unlucky and had to hit the hard pity threshold every time she pulled, wasn't tempted. She even turned down the offer with righteous indignation.
"Putting a prize pool in a farming game goes against the very purpose of farming games: the joy of working yourself to exhaustion! You're trying to get players to take shortcuts and rob us of our sense of accomplishment!"
"Even if I have to work myself to the bone and die of exhaustion right here today, I won't pull from that pool." Qiao An'an swore to the heavens.
Two days later.
On a dark and windy night, Qiao An'an opened the prize pool with the coins she'd painstakingly saved up.
On her final draw, a golden light finally appeared.
Unable to contain her excitement, Qiao An'an opened the box. Before she could even see what tool it was, the cat butler was already meowing excitedly!
"It's a divine-grade tool with a drop rate as low as 0.05%!"
Qiao An'an looked closer.
A pair of colored contact lenses?
"These aren't ordinary colored contacts! Once you put them on, the affection of all romanceable NPCs toward you will instantly max out, meow~"
Qiao An'an: "After their affection maxes out, will they help me farm, raise chickens, fish, and mine?"
"Nope ^ω^"
"...Then what's the point of maxing out their affection?"
"Master can choose any NPC they like as their marriage partner."
"Hah. Men will only slow down my farming."
"After marriage, you can enjoy all of the NPC's property."

Every time when it was time to rescue someone, I would say something if they didn't leave quickly. I even suspected that the two of them did it on purpose because they didn't want to leave to delay time.
Didn't the heroine turn into a half-animal? No one noticed her abnormality. Or maybe she took the crystal core back after eating it. I didn't make it clear.
