Three Minutes to Solve the Case

[Main Story Complete] I transmigrated into a strange world. It was backward and vulgar, full of crowds of people milling around like goldfish. They had turned 221B, the building I’d blown up, into a tourist attraction, claiming it was my brother Sherlock’s former home. Whether they were police officers or detectives, they ignored the evidence right in front of them and dressed up their incompetence as “heroism.” They were even worse than a child who’d been shrunk down. Boring! Boring! [Then let’s make this deduction game a little more interesting.] [Dear Miss Detective, find the culprit here within three minutes and treat these poor detectives to a grand banquet!] [A friendly reminder: You have 2 minutes and 59 seconds until your death.] “This wind will be cold and fierce, Watson. When it blows, many of us may wither, but it is still the wind of God.”[1] The British Empire reminds you to close your doors and windows before bed. Take note: The East Wind is coming. * The title was chosen at random and may be changed. * The blurb appears in the case in Chapter 11. * [1] From The Adventure of the Retired Colourman by Arthur Conan Doyle. * Eurus means “east wind” in Greek. * The cover was commissioned! The artist is still my favorite, Teacher! @GuangguangStayAwayFromFools [Content Warnings!! Please Read!] ● The protagonist is based on an existing character. ● The protagonist is the smartest person in the story, following the original setting that Sherlock Holmes’s youngest sister is the cleverest of the Holmes family. ● The protagonist has a terrible personality and will stop at nothing to achieve her goals. She only comes to acknowledge the existence of “friends” later on. ● No romantic pairings. Relationships are limited to family and friendship. ● I’ll add more if I think of anything. [Recommendations] “It’s Over, I Went to the Wrong Set” [Ultraman] by Beiji Feijiu “[Main Pairing: Volleyball] Text Walkthrough RPG” by Song Jingzi My upcoming story: “The Mastermind Is Actually Me” I’m Shiina Ichise. I was born with a villain’s face, and after accidentally killing someone when I transmigrated, I can only temporarily use his identity. I’m determined to do good deeds and bring him back to life. So I took in a “poor orphan” named “Kurosawa Jin” and became an exemplary Public Security officer. Through my efforts, the police started arresting members of the legendary Black Organization one after another. For some reason, whenever they heard my voice, they looked like they’d seen a ghost, their eyes going wide as they obediently surrendered. I always thought it was because of my irresistible charisma. Until one day, a man named Gin called me using Jin’s voice. He called me BOSS and said he’d found a traitor and needed me to give him orders. Comments: [??? What the hell, what a twist!] [Wait, wasn’t the BOSS supposed to be a balding, potbellied middle-aged man? Who is this handsome NPC who sweeps the streets every day?] [I get it! This is the legendary art of disguise! Have you noticed? When Shiina isn’t smiling, his killing intent is even scarier than Gin’s!] [Shiina, the Academy Award owes you a golden statuette.] That’s right. The viewers were shocked, and so was I. After doing good deeds for all these years, it turned out I was the mastermind all along. I’d never been a villain before, so I fell silent. As the comments flooded in, I decided to play along. [Year X, Month X, Day X. Sunny.] [Had Gin take a kid named Conan home.] [Year X, Month X, Day X. Rainy.] [Had Vermouth spruce up the street landscaping.] [Year X, Month X, Day X. Overcast.] [Got recognized at the city awards ceremony. Gin didn’t say anything, but I could read the words “Did a donkey kick you in the head?” in his eyes.] Under the gaze of his friends, Shiina Ichise broke down and wrote another entry in his diary. [Year X, Month X, Day X. Rainy.] [Scotland still won’t listen to me. Bourbon has a mind of his own, and Vodka hit a utility pole the last time he drove me somewhere. I think I’m about to get killed and overthrown.] [In this organization, Gin really is the only one who loves me!] Scotland, Hiromitsu: ... Bourbon, Rei: ? - Clever, humble, and full of promise: When people spoke of Officer Shiina, most used words like these. Back then, no one realized he would die in his twenties. - Comments: [Wait, is this really how things happen?] [You can’t die, Shiina! I haven’t finished drawing my fan comic!] [Hm? Look again, he seems to be alive after all.] [What did he come back as?] [Shiina! Shiina changed his secret identity! He went from being the liquor syndicate’s boss to working under Gin! Come on!] [I get it. This is the legendary fake-death trick. The writer gets me. This must be so that... Never mind, I can’t make this work.] [Shiina, son, aren’t you completely screwed if Gin finds out?] Shiina Ichise: ? Theme: Learning how to love others
