Livestreaming Myself Beating Up Ghosts in a Horror Crossover World

■ A crossover of various horror and suspense movies and urban legends

My name is Gongshui Huizhen. I'm an utterly ordinary middle school girl. My daily routine is just going to school and coming home, and I've never had any contact with the supernatural.

One day, a livestreaming System latched onto me and bound itself to me.

From then on, the hidden secrets on the other side of the world were revealed to me.

Cursed videotapes, terrifying dolls, and Kisaragi Station are all small potatoes.

The ghostly shadow at the street corner, the vortex, the human body that splits endlessly, and the wicked woman are all things I can take on three at a time with one punch.

I gave a disdainful snort. "Hmph. Is that all?"

I've always believed in one truth: There's no supernatural thing that can't be solved with a beating. And if there is, then give it another beating.

System: Trembling in fear, not daring to make a peep.

I looked at the livestreaming System I'd been ignoring all this time. It looked back at me. Its gaze made me wonder if I'd beaten it up too.

System: Li-livestream...

Me: Give it up. No one's going to watch something this weird.

But since sharing the fun is better than keeping it to myself, I still started a livestream and pinned a Sadako to the ground, beating her senseless right there.

The few comments that came in fell silent for a moment, then began to scroll by frantically.

Along with strange comments like [Big sis is so cool, I want to be big sis's x] and [Holy crap, that ghost is getting beaten so badly, but why am I enjoying this so much?], the little livestream tucked away in some corner of the internet came to people's attention.

A few months later, I was inexplicably famous for livestreaming myself beating up ghosts. Me: Well, although freedom of speech is a thing, I still recommend you all go see a doctor.

Why are people actually watching this ghost stuff???

"Next stop: The Meat Grinder!"

The monkey let out a bizarre shriek.

The girl was still wearing an ordinary dress, looking well-behaved and harmless as she sat on the train.

Amid the noisy wails, she reached for the gun she carried with her...

Her lips curled into a smile as she looked at the camera, revealing a bloodthirsty grin.
