I Own an Apartment Building for Nonhumans

In the age of spiritual qi revival, everyone awakens a supernatural ability on the day they come of age.

But Qi Ran, one of those "one in ten thousand" people with no abilities, is regarded as useless.

People without abilities don't deserve to have jobs.

Qi Ran has just graduated from university and is worrying about finding work when a letter arrives from his parents, who have been missing for four years. They have passed down an apartment building to him.

Qi Ran: Well, there's my job right there.

But that apartment building is in the middle of nowhere, and the structure is on the verge of collapse.

A gust of wind blows, and a sign reading "Humans Prohibited" falls right onto his head.

Qi Ran: ...

The dilapidated apartment building gives Qi Ran a dozen supernatural abilities and a System.

He gains the abilities of every nonhuman who has ever lived there.

The System keeps track of every nonhuman looking for a place to live.

A fox demon who turned to dark magic to save his people has been cast out by his clan.

Qi Ran finds him by the river, purges the demonic energy from him, and invites him to live at the apartment building.

The fox demon sweeps his nine tails around, and from then on, the flowers before the apartment never wither.

A soul forced to bear the entire village's wicked desires was imprisoned for a hundred years and became an evil spirit.

Qi Ran breaks the chains binding him, clears away the karmic burdens he has endured, and invites him to live at the apartment building.

The evil spirit signs a contract, using the merit earned from a century of karmic burdens to protect the apartment building from natural disasters.

An out-of-control abyssal dragon wreaks havoc across the human world.

Qi Ran accepts the Empire's commission to go slay the dragon.

He walks up slowly and pats the dragon's head. "Good boy. Come home with me."

The dragon that had ravaged the world becomes docile in an instant.

Later, the dilapidated house from the beginning becomes a sanctuary for nonhumans from all over the world.
