After Reuniting with the Geo Archon

Zhenyi is a grass-element sprite born in the Chasm. In the hundreds of years she has lived, she has barely seen any others of her kind. One day, she takes human form and falls at first sight for the first "kin" she meets.

She is a beautiful, bold older sister who calls herself "Morax."

From then on, Zhenyi becomes Morax's little shadow. In her hundreds of years of life, the only things that matter to her are "Big Sister" and the divination arts she has devoted herself to studying.

The Anemo Sprite next door can't bear to watch and teases her, saying, "Your sister will get married someday."

Zhenyi sticks out her tongue and pulls a face at him. "It's not like I can't marry her myself."

Morax: "Mm."

Barbatos: "...Nice."

The sisters live a peaceful, happy life, until the Heavenly Principles summon the Seven Archons to destroy Khaenri'ah. Zhenyi can't shake the feeling that something is wrong. She breaks a taboo and divines her own fate.

During the Khaenri'ah campaign, the Geo Archon who appeared before everyone was a tall, handsome man.

Once everything had settled, he planned to confess to the grass sprite he had raised at home in this form, then marry her.

If she wished to stay in Liyue, he would spend the rest of his life there by her side. If she wanted to travel all over Teyvat, he would accompany her across the land.

But when Zhongli returned home, his little sprite was gone.

She had left all the power she had accumulated over a thousand years in the Chasm, turning her divination powers into purification powers. She prevented the Yaksha from being wiped out and awakened countless survivors of Khaenri'ah.

But she fell asleep deep in the Chasm, and no one could wake her.

Not until another five hundred years had passed, when a blond Traveler and her emergency food knocked on that door.

-

Zhongli had always thought the thing between them was "time."

It was only when Zhenyi returned to his side that he realized the thing was actually... gender.

How could he explain to this girl, who kept rubbing up against him, cuddling close, and even wanting to bathe with him in the hot springs,

that he really, really, really was a man?

He even had two... Ahem.

*Pure sweetness, not written by a lore buff, and the logic is pretty weak.

*Very short, written to build up good luck for pulling the Geo Archon.

*Wishing myself two five-stars in a ten-pull, and no losing the 50/50!
