[The King's Avatar] Streamer Xiao Ye Takes on the Pro Scene

[Eighteen-year-old Xiu Xiu joins Team Tyranny in S9]

Jun Mo Xiao is the most popular gaming VTuber on the internet, with a gorgeous avatar, an intoxicating voice, and top-tier skills.

In two years of streaming, he's only ever played one game: Glory.

His fans say he's a gaming genius without precedent, able to develop his own silver equipment and master all 24 classes.

His haters say nobody knows who's behind the screen. Who's to say it's not a stand-in or a whole team running things?

After a fierce online argument, everyone reached the same conclusion: If he's that good, why not prove it in the pro league?

And then...

At the tail end of the Season 8 summer break,

a fair-skinned, laid-back young man who claimed to be Jun Mo Xiao showed up at the Tyranny Club.

[There is an all-Ye undertone, and it may get stronger as the story goes on.]

[Original title: My Favorite Became My Teammate First, Then My Wife. This is a Le-Ye story.]

Original blurb:

Jun Mo Xiao is the most popular gaming VTuber on the internet, with a gorgeous avatar, an intoxicating voice, and top-tier skills.

Zhang Jiale, a pro Glory player, is one of Jun Mo Xiao's most devoted fans on the entire internet, a fiercely possessive solo stan, though only people in the fandom know.

To Zhang Jiale, Jun Mo Xiao is his virtual wife. But he'd never imagined that one day his virtual wife might actually appear in front of him.

After all, Jun Mo Xiao is so perfect. He's been active for two years and has millions of fans, yet nobody has dug up even the tiniest bit of personal information. Maybe there really is some kind of being from another dimension behind that avatar.

Until one day, outside a Jun Mo Xiao-themed collaboration cafe,

a laid-back young man tapped Zhang Jiale on the shoulder and said:

"Hi, I'm Jun Mo Xiao. Take me in, please."

Zhang Jiale immediately clutched his ita bag.

-

1. The original setting is used, but this is an alternate universe with various original elements.

2. Serious OOC warning.

3. I promise this is a Le-Ye story.

4. But when I write Ye-related ships, it's really hard not to have an all-Ye undertone.

5. And when I write straight fanfiction, it's really impossible not to let Ye Ye win the championship.

So Tyranny will win the S9 championship. Apologies to Samsara fans. Read with caution!

[Special note: The first few chapters were meant to be short, sweet Le-Ye stories. But once I started writing a Full-Time Professional fanfic, it was hard to stop once the pro league came into play... I paused in the middle to think about it. In the end, I realized I didn't want to stop after all. Who wouldn't want to see Ye Ye keep winning championships? And then it got long... (Strictly speaking, I probably started losing control around Chapter 6.)]

Theme: Love lasts forever, and championships live on.
