[The King's Avatar] A Fan's Bottom Line

Xia Ke is a well-known fan site photographer. In the booming idol market, she can take stunning photos and lead fans into vicious online battles to clear a path for their idol. Using these skills, she successfully made enough from the fan economy to achieve financial independence. But in a corner no one knows about, Xia Ke is not only a famous fan site photographer for a top-tier star, but also Zhang Jiale's devoted solo fan. Unfortunately, Zhang Jiale is only a fictional character. There was nothing Xia Ke could do. Even though she was a big-name fan, the barrier between dimensions meant she couldn't attack the team or spread brainwashing posts to defend Zhang Jiale. All she could do was clutch her phone and curse the heartless Hundred Blossoms fans whenever she rewatched the famous scene of Zhang Jiale getting beaten up. Who would have thought that when she woke up one day, Xia Ke would find that the world had changed a little? The entertainment industry hadn't changed, the world hadn't changed, and neither had the people around her. Only the esports scene was different: it now had a game called Glory. Xia Ke: What idol? What top-tier star? I'm done with all that! Zhang Jiale, I'm here to help you win over your fans, I mean, to stand up for you!!! * Zhang Jiale thought that after joining Tyranny, no one but himself would understand his decision. Until... At Hundred Blossoms' home arena, just before a security guard was about to punch him, a high-pitched woman's voice shattered the silence. "Zhang Jiale! Be your own champion forever!!!!" Zhang Jiale looked up. A beautiful girl wearing his merchandise had raised a huge banner for him, using her small body to hold it aloft. The flag fluttered in the wind. Zhang Jiale realized that through all those years of his career, someone had truly followed in his footsteps without ever wavering. Glory. The first rule for fans: A fan who doesn't covet their idol isn't a good fan. A few warnings: This is a fanfic written for Zhang Jiale's birthday, and a lot of it doesn't make logical sense. I'm writing what I want to read. I don't bash Hundred Blossoms, but I do go hard on certain Hundred Blossoms fans. Some parts are pretty ridiculous, but they're satisfying. The main plot is a romance with Zhang Jiale. Theme: Love is never about hurting someone.
