[Western Crossover] All of Gotham Is Shipping My OTP

[Updated with 10,000 words on April 20, when it goes VIP. Hope you enjoy!] As Bruce Wayne's daughter, I was cursed with the fate of not living to see eighteen. For the sake of my future decades as the richest person in the world, I bonded with a System. The System said that if I helped it make the secret identities it had planted in Gotham successful debuts, I could gain more years of life. The more famous they became, the longer I would live. A debut? Fame? I'm just an ordinary heiress to a fortune. I'm no good at this stuff! That was until I saw the cover girl in a Gotham tabloid, who had once again made the front page because my dad had taken her to a banquet... [I'm beginning to understand everything.JPG] Isn't this just making a debut? In Gotham, what could be a more effective way to break into the scene than getting caught up in a scandal with a billionaire's daughter? * The System had painstakingly chosen Batman's daughter as its Host in Gotham. Its idea of making a debut: become Gotham's newest superhero or supervillain, build a character arc like in a novel, stage a tragic death, and die surrounded by a crowd of admirers. Lin, who had no idea her dad was Batman, thought making a debut meant spending a fortune and dating secret identities with eight-pack abs, secret identities with impressive pecs, and secret identities with gorgeous faces, all while being a billionaire's daughter. Lin: As long as my love-life rumors get big enough, everyone in Gotham will know my secret identities! From then on, the Gotham tabloids stopped reporting on Bruce Wayne's love life. They only cared about one thing: Who is Wayne's daughter dating today? What kind of qualifications does her new love have? Is Wayne's daughter going to marry my stock today? [This world is one giant stock market.JPG] * In the Batcave, a deeply troubled father pondered an important question: Did Lin know that her lovers were, respectively, Black Mask's trusted henchman, a research partner in Scarecrow's toxin production, and the Penguin's latest recruit, a master assassin? As her father, should he break them up? At that moment, Lin was shaping the face of her fourth secret identity. She rubbed her chin and said, "Since my dad hates Batman, my next secret identity should keep making Batman's life difficult! I'm such a thoughtful little sweetheart." Tips: 1. The protagonist and all her secret identities are acting. The story does not involve any romantic feelings. 2. This is still a Wayne family comedy, with no tragedy. The protagonist is from the same series as the last book. You can read this one without having read the previous book. 3. The protagonist doesn't know the Batfamily's identities, so there will be lots of secret-identity jokes. 4. The secret identities include both men and women. There will be plenty of Gothamites shipping couples and speculating on their stocks, and even villains fighting over their ships. If that's not your thing, read at your own risk. 5. More to come if I think of anything. Check out my upcoming original novel, Disaster Players, But Match-Three for Beginners, a hilarious, invincible-style space story about disaster players. Hope you enjoy it! He Guang opened StarCraft: Invasion of the Zerg Civilization on a friend's recommendation. It was a story-driven game where you cleared levels by playing match-three. He Guang, who loved stories but was terrible at games, and was a level-ten match-three enthusiast: This is my destiny! Match-three, here I come! Wait, why didn't anyone tell her she had to run around the map herself just to explore and complete regular missions? A strange girl had joined First Military Academy. She was aloof and noble, but there was something wrong with her head. For example... She would suddenly start running into walls while walking down the road, liked to sleep hanging from a wall when resting on the battlefield, and even... She never used the stairs to go downstairs. He Guang, whose camera got stuck so she couldn't find her way, who couldn't switch to a resting pose and could only hang from the wall, and who thought taking the stairs was too slow and just wanted to play match-three: Aaaaaah, running around the map is such a pain! But no one could deny how powerful she was. The moment she got into a mech, this girl with something wrong with her head started sweeping through the enemy ranks as if she were using cheats. She also took first place in the entrance combat exam and became student number 01. From then on, no one could knock her off her pedestal. An enemy they had spent a month attacking without killing was closing in on a human city. She descended from the sky with reinforcements, fought the enemy for seven days and seven nights, and ultimately won. She was the savior of a humanity that was gradually losing ground. He Guang, who had literally spent a week playing match-three on her computer: I'm going to throw up. She feels sick just looking at match-three now. After deciding to take a proper break, He Guang turned off her computer. When she closed and reopened her eyes, she found herself transmigrated into the game character she had played in the latter half of the game. By then, she had already been hailed as humanity's savior. Before transmigrating, He Guang had been in and out of the hospital every few days because of her job. Her physical condition was so terrible that she nearly blacked out on the spot. She was so, so, so doomed. With no way out but to fight, He Guang reluctantly went to the battlefield. The instant she touched the mech, something enormous appeared before her eyes... A match-three game? He Guang: Ah, it's still match-three. You could've said so earlier. Then we're good.
