The year she quit her job was the most bewildering year of Simian's life. One night, she happened to see the golden Guanyin statue at Puji Temple, and at first light the next morning, she set off alone for Mount Putuo.
She was in a hurry that day. Incense smoke curled through the air, and worshippers came and went without end. After she had paid her respects to the Guanyin statue in the main hall, she happened to glance back and saw a young man standing beneath a tree.
He wore a black long gown and looked up at an ancient cypress that towered into the clouds. The black collar, embroidered with a subtle pattern, rested against his slender, pale neck. He was handsome, austere, and impossibly refined, with an air of quiet sophistication. He seemed as if he had been born to be alone.
A man like him did not belong to the ordinary world. With that thought, she left the main hall.
After paying her respects to Manjushri, she returned to the front hall, but the figure beneath the tree was gone.
A cold front arrived that day, and she left Putuo Island before the last ferry at five.
Half a month later, her family arranged a blind date for her. To her surprise, it was the man who had captivated her with that fleeting glimpse.
The Bodhisattvas have the final say. She believed this was fate.

"In this age of rampant materialism, I'm still waiting for a love that chooses me with certainty."
"So I came."
Reading tips:
1) Both leads are older young adults, and neither is perfect. They meet through a blind date and marry in a whirlwind.
2) Getting married takes a moment of impulse. When you feel a connection, there's no need to think it over for too long. You have to believe that even if you've wandered through hardship for half your life, the universe has already saved the best for you.
3) A gentle, simple, warm, healing story of mutual love, choosing a place to put down roots, and an urban fairy tale with no schemes or misunderstandings. For everyone who longs for warmth and healing.
It's probably a story about falling in love after marriage, an ordinary modern urban novel involving real place names. It's short.
Premise: Live positively and always love the world.
