A young archer in a purple cloak raised his arm high. His unstoppable arrow whipped up a powerful gust of wind and tore straight through a huge, hideous curse.
"Hey, you all right?"
He casually used his cloak to wipe the face of the disheveled, black-haired boy with spiky hair.

"Children get in free. Adults, line up."
A stern centaur doctor became famous in the underworld. At a certain port company known for exploiting minors, he started an eight-hour-sleep revolution for underage employees.
And besides that...
A gigantic white whale and a silver three-masted sailing ship faced off in the sky. A black-skinned will-o'-the-wisp told stories to a little boy in a detention room. A rainbow-maned lion boy stood in the artificial desert at the technical college.

"You... what kind of organization are you?!"
Someone chased after them, their face full of urgency.
"We are..."

Li Chuan Shuliu: "I'm really just an ordinary fairy-tale writer!!!"

Reading guide:
1. The protagonist's secret identity is never exposed. No romance.
2. The inspirations for all the secret identities and props in this story come from The Neverending Story (highly recommended. It's a wonderful book, and I've loved it from elementary school until now). Some details have been adapted to fit the setting.
Coming soon: Becoming the Strongest Detective in the World of Ghost Stories
What's it like to be reborn as a head?
Liu Mingxi definitely has something to say about that.
Not only was he reborn in a metropolis where ghosts roamed by the hundreds, but when he opened his eyes, he discovered that everything below his neck had been censored more thoroughly than on a certain green website. And the dangerous ghost story that had killed the original owner of this head would arrive at the scene in three seconds.
It was hell difficulty from the start.
But that was all right. He didn't seem to be a creature of the living world anymore, either.
He just accidentally became a famous detective in both the supernatural and human worlds, and even recruited a group of ghost stories to work for him.
So...
The art room sculpture that loved decapitating people became a juicer. The goldfish spirit, a barbecue maniac during the Obon Festival, got stuffed into a fish tank. The shy, voyeuristic kid who loved playing hide-and-seek was forced to become his errand boy...
[The Living Statue in the Art Room]
"Are you going to paint me?" The breathtakingly beautiful girl with a head for a face smiled, biting her lip.
Liu Mingxi: Nobody wants a sculpture like this, right...
[The Goldfish Boy of the Obon Festival]
"Want to try and see what it's like to have all the moisture sucked out of you?" The impassive young man held an umbrella amid the flames of the Daimonji bonfire, a red fish swimming beneath it.
Liu Mingxi: Tch, a mutated giant koi. Pretty, but not edible.
[One-Person Hide-and-Seek]
"You have to hide well this time, too, okay, Big Brother?" The boy, clutching a camera disguised as a teddy bear, timidly tugged at his sleeve. The previous participant's warm blood still stained his cheeks.
Liu Mingxi: Energetic, good-natured, no need to feed him or clean up after him. Great, he's the one.
In ancient times, those known as exorcists evolved in modern society into a more fashionable profession: paranormal detectives.
They risk their lives to uncover the rules behind ghost stories, control them, seal them away, and even destroy them.
"If you can observe it, you can interfere with it. If you can interfere with it, you can control it. That's a good point."
"Since you've come here, you might as well stay." A certain unscrupulous detective said with a smiling face.
Reading guide:
1. The protagonist is a law-abiding, good person, except when acting in self-defense. He's the brains of the story.
2. There may be a few mildly horrifying scenes with graphic gore.
The Dungeon NPC Is Still Making Me Pay Rent Today
Lin Keshi was the ultimate landlord, with several strings of keys hanging from his waist. He unexpectedly transmigrated into the body of an apartment manager named Lin Kesi, who shared his name. He thought he could keep enjoying the happy, idle life of collecting rent, but what was the point if he couldn't rent out the apartments!
Luckily, after entering a fog that dragged people into dungeons, Lin Kesi discovered that the bosses in these dungeons were all rather plain and unassuming. He recruited a bunch of tenants who didn't mind his old, shabby apartments.
Before he knew it, looking at a house full of monsters running wild, Lin Kesi realized he could apparently go wherever he pleased in a real world crawling with ghost stories.
As a landlord, having to go into dungeons to find tenants was a little troublesome, but as long as he could collect rent, it wasn't a problem. Except, why weren't any of his tenants human?!
The beautiful sea demon was off-key again today, so Lin Kesi quietly added earmuffs to the list of essentials;
The red-clothed ghost girl scratched at the wall as punctually as a clock, so Lin Kesi could only insist that she buy her own scratching post;
The tentacle monster in the basement had forgotten to turn off the shower again. Lin Kesi stared at the sky-high water bill and nearly had a heart attack...
Since he'd worked so hard to fish this troublesome lot out of the fog, Lin Kesi could just about put up with them. But why was that guy who'd barged in to freeload acting like he owned the place?
Watching the expressionless, painfully difficult mute-type boy scare the red-clothed miss onto the chandelier he'd bought at an exorbitant price yet again, Lin Kesi snapped his pen for the one hundred and first time.
A money-grubbing, lazy landlord who wears suits in public but loves flip-flops x a fiercely possessive, loyal attack dog who pretends to be frail and mute but genuinely can't speak
Lin Kesi Apartments: Tenant Rules
1. Please pay your rent promptly.
2. No singing after eleven at night.
3. Tenants must pay for any unnecessary expenses they cause.
4. The bathtub is not a place to sleep.
5. To be decided.
A friendly tip from Lin Kesi:
1. The real world has a steampunk setting similar to the Victorian era, and the fog leads to dungeon worlds.
2. Rent at these apartments is low, and the landlord is beautiful and kindhearted. All are welcome to move in with just their luggage.
Theme: Uphold justice and bring light to others.
He is already a stupid brother (sad)
Atleyu: Don't come over here! !
Congratulations on the completion~ I miss the little lion, wouldn't you consider writing a separate article about Grau?
