Wei Jiuzheng transmigrated into a historical romance game.
Raise the affection of all four romanceable characters to the maximum and achieve a perfect ending, and she could return to reality.
But Wei Jiuzheng wasn't straight.
A thought struck her: Do romance targets have to be a certain gender?
-
The game Kiss the Skirt is all the rage across the continent!
You are the only daughter of the founding emperor and empress, adored by all and unmatched in grace and beauty. But your position as crown princess is precarious, thanks to your alleged "checkered history" and the repeated obstruction of the old, stodgy ministers.
Can you turn the tide?
As you build a dynasty, what kind of romance awaits you, player?
Wei Jiuzheng: Romance isn't all that important, actually. I mostly want to stay alive.
So no matter what romantic opportunities the System created for her, she doggedly kept... charming the women in every scene.
When she was assassinated, she played the victim to both the assassin and her guards.
When she was framed, she invited the imperial tutor and her childhood friend, separately, to discuss chess over boiling snow.
In the end, she somehow won everyone's hearts and became empress.
-
At the end, the System asked the empress to sum up her secrets to success. Wei Jiuzheng smiled faintly:
1. Keep everyone happy.
2. Maintain a balance of power.
3. Big, dewy eyes.
4. Always love the most: the realm and its people.
Please note: She won't sleep with multiple people at the same time.
Possible triggers:
1. The heroine is incapable of love at heart. She's a master flirt, has no morals and no heart, but is focused on her career.
2. Romance takes slightly more focus than political intrigue.
3. All romanceable characters love only the heroine. I can't promise that every romanceable character's story will give everyone equal attention. In addition to the open ending in the main story, there will be four separate one-on-one alternate endings, available as optional extras.
4. The game is set in a fictional patriarchal society inspired by the Tang Dynasty, where power is seized in a non-matriarchal setting.

Other notes: Updates depend on how I'm feeling, but I'll do my best to post daily or every other day. Romanceable characters may have changes to their settings. My next planned book will most likely be Mistaken Identity, though I may start something else instead. If you're interested, please visit my profile and add it to your collection.
Thank you so much for your patience and support.
Theme: Don't tie your fate to the love of another.
The readability is getting better and better. It's like reading Angela Carter's blurry romance, and you can read and sing aloud [Glasses]
Haha, after reading this chapter, I want to read Xu Changhen's first acquaintance and previous stories from the beginning. Why is it so enjoyable to read some parts of this chapter, especially the self-narration. 🐶
Oh, I really like heart-to-heart conversations between women [Glasses]
Madam, please don't cut yourself off just to speed up the frequency of updates... It's good to take it slow now. Every word has been carefully polished and reads like a poem.
Some disciplines and environments are difficult to change in a short period of time
Sometimes I hate the idea that being a woman is a situation.
Shura Field, a must-try, delicious food
Ah, is the system a real mother at some point? [Have no choice]
Freedom is always limited, but the top of the tower is always better, and the girl deserves it
It feels really good to be in a superior position [Glasses] Having power makes you feel bold
