Back to Ancient Times to Raise a Little One (Food)

Zhu Tang transmigrated to the modern world and made a great success of herself in the food business. After she died, she somehow transmigrated back to ancient times! Now, her little sister hadn't gone missing yet, her father hadn't been lost at sea, and her younger brother hadn't become despondent over his disabled legs... The Zhu family was still living in the dazzling, bustling city of Bianjing. Money was tight and they had their share of squabbles, but at least every member of the family was alive and well. Disaster had yet to strike, and there was still time to make up for every regret. Sobbing uncontrollably, Zhu Tang resolved to do everything she could to earn and save money, hoping her family could live in peace and happiness, all together. And so... In spring, she set up a pot to steam pork buns. In summer, she put up a stall to sell chilled noodles. In autumn, she slowly simmered sweet pear soup. In winter, she roasted plump little lambs over a fierce fire. May we ask the name of the master chef in the kitchen? This humble one is the eldest daughter of the Zhu family of Bianjing! [Reader's Guide] 1. A slice-of-life story about food, raising children, family, and running a business. Slow-paced, with a small ensemble cast. 2.
