What Shi Ling never expected was that after making that simple complaint, she would wake up transmigrated into the story as the ill-fated female supporting character. If she remembered correctly, this character was the Demon Cult leader with countless members in her harem. In the end, every member of her harem fell in love with the female lead and joined forces with her to list the Demon Cult's many crimes. Not only was the cult destroyed, but the female supporting character was also pierced through the heart by the swords of the entire cultivation world.

Captured because his martial arts were no match for the Demon Cult's, the orthodox disciple spent every day shouting for them to release him and threatening to reduce the Demon Cult leader, who had defiled him, to ashes. Shi Ling got a headache just watching him, so she said, "You can go. Stop making all that noise. I've got a headache."

The orthodox disciple froze, then grew even angrier. He grabbed Shi Ling's hand and shouted, "No! You capture me whenever you want and let me go whenever you want. What do you take me for? I insist on staying here and making your life miserable! You have to take responsibility for me!"

Harem member three:

A celebrated performer at a pleasure-house theater, skilled at ingratiating himself with everyone

The beautiful performer greeted Shi Ling with a smile every day, his singing as sweet as an oriole outside the window. Shi Ling thought he was sincere, but one day she discovered that he'd thrown every gift she'd given him into the lake. The smile on his face had been replaced by hatred.

Shi Ling sighed and said softly, "If you don't want to smile, then don't. And if you don't want to sing, you don't have to. I don't like making people do things against their will."

Watching Shi Ling walk away, the performer wore a complicated expression, with an emotion on his face that was impossible to read.

Harem member four:

An innocent, adorable little boy she picked up by chance

She'd only been doing a good deed, but now the cute, guileless little boy followed her around every day, calling her Big Sister this and Big Sister that. Shi Ling pinched his soft, plump cheek and thought to herself, A beautiful young man really is the best cure for the soul.

But Shi Ling didn't see the possessiveness hidden beneath the little boy's innocent smile, as deep as a ravine.
