After Faking My Death, My Master Had My Egg

Short Blurb:

Qin Shou was beaten half to death by his foreman and left to cling to life in a mountain god temple.

Then he heard Lingxu Sect disciples gossiping nearby: "Some beast defiled our master and even left behind a spirit egg!"

The moment he looked up, they mistook him for that "beast" and dragged him back to their immortal sect.

Qin Shou: My name is Qin Shou, not "beast"!!

But when he saw the cool, elegant face of their master, Mu Yubai, Qin Shou suddenly fell silent.

After all, who could look at that face and not want to be a "beast" for once?

Long Blurb:

Qin Shou had only one wish in life: to be an honest, unassuming man who could support his mother. He was willing to be worked like an ox or a horse, no matter how badly people treated him.

But the world was unjust. The foreman eyed his face and smiled lewdly. "Qin Shou, what a waste to work like an ox or a horse. Come with me, and I'll make sure you eat well and live in luxury."

He could put up with being treated like an ox or a horse, but absolutely not like a chicken or a duck. He ran away, but had no idea where he could go.

He was beaten unconscious. When he came to, he heard someone say,

"Have you heard? Our master is carrying a beast's egg, but the beast ran away. What a heinous crime!"

Qin Shou couldn't take it anymore. He shouted angrily,

"What nonsense! I've never even met any master! How could he have my egg?"

His voice was so loud that the two disciples jumped. Once they got a good look at him, their faces changed dramatically. Then a club cracked against the back of his head, and everything went black.

When he opened his eyes again, he was in a guest room at Lingxu Sect.

"You've taken human form?"

The man before him had a face beautiful enough to make all creation swoon. His dark gaze rested on Qin Shou.

Qin Shou was utterly bewildered. He opened his mouth, but couldn't get a word out. Taken human form? What human form? Hadn't he always been human?

Before he could make sense of it, the man spoke again. His tone was still cool, but now he added a sentence that nearly scared the soul out of Qin Shou: "I'm carrying your egg. You have to take responsibility."

Qin Shou: "???"

Wait, what was going on? This had to be one huge misunderstanding, right?!
