Poverty-stricken graduate Yu Yang ends up moving into a cheap apartment by chance, thanks to a stray cat. At first, he thinks he's found a bargain, but after moving in, he realizes that he may not be the only one living there. Or rather, the other residents might not be human at all...

Hounded by evil spirits, Yu Yang gets a chance to work at a mysterious pet shop. The pets sold there are unusual: they're not cats, dogs, or the little animals people commonly keep at home. The shop sells monsters, one after another.

When you're feeling empty and lonely and want some comfort, you can step inside the shop. These adorable monsters can help make your wishes come true, but be careful: getting what you want may come at a price.

On the other side of the shop stands a glass cabinet filled with dolls. Every one of them is exquisitely crafted, with soft, cold skin and smooth, black hair. The shop owner made them all by hand. The blush on their snow-white cheeks was painted on by the owner, as if a god were breathing life into them.

If you have a wish, you'll find your way to this mysterious pet shop. There, you'll meet a shopkeeper as divine as a god, and Yu Yang, a clerk who attracts evil spirits. If you can pay the price, every wish of yours will come true. But always remember: don't let beauty deceive you. Beneath it may lie something truly vile.

So, dear customer, would you like a monster?
