I Pretended to Be His Girlfriend to Meet His Parents, and Ran Into My Ex

I went to meet my fake girlfriend's parents and ran into my ex. Thankfully, my ex was an idiot and didn't recognize me. What a lucky escape. I thought that was the end of it, but the next day my timid coworker came over, looking at me with a guilty expression.

Me: ???

Coworker: Come on, I'm sorry.

It was just one night. What do you have to apologize to me for? Did you give your brother my contact info? Wait, has he had the same type for over ten years, and been devoted to the same person the whole time? That doesn't fit his status as a first-generation entrepreneur! Seriously, what is it about me that keeps making him fall for me? I'll change, okay?

Coworker: My brother sent me a six-figure red envelope yesterday.

I kept a straight face. "And?"

Coworker: I think he's interested in you... maybe...

Me: Is your brother a criminal who thinks he's above the law? Does he not care about basic ethics?

My coworker stammered.

I turned around, opened a document, and typed the words "I quit."

Wait. I turned back to my coworker. "Your brother's interested in me, so why did he send you the money?"

My coworker looked up. "A breakup payment????"

Me... grass!

A crossover with the neighboring story, The One Who's Being Watched. Not sure how much crossover there'll be, but it's sweet. The story contains plenty of cross-dressing scenes, and maybe the gong will cross-dress too, so if that's not for you, you can skip it now.

Premise: You should have a mole at the corner of your eye.
