[Demon Slayer Short Stories] A God Will Come to Save You

She was the god of Taro and Ume.

/Tips before reading/

1. Although this is a Demon Slayer fanfic, it doesn't have much of the original story. This is an alternate timeline of my own creation.

2. Zero isn't really a god. She's a god to Taro and Ume. Taro and Ume are closer to their more peaceful personalities in the modern-day chapters (?);

3. There are bugs, out-of-character moments, and original settings;

4. Jujutsu Kaisen is only part of Zero's background. The story doesn't follow its plot;

5. I don't even know what this is. Let's just call it a celebration of the end of the Entertainment District Arc. I'll write whatever, and you can read whatever.

A few rambling thoughts:

Also known as "A God Will Come to Love You": a little corny (pat.jpg).

The inspiration came from what Daki said when Ume was burned alive: "Turn my sister back to normal, or I'll kill you, whether you're a god or a Buddha," and, "If we'd worked at a better establishment, I might have become a respectable courtesan; if we'd been born into an ordinary family, I might have been an ordinary girl; if we'd been born into an aristocratic family, I might have been a noble young lady."

Isn't that a strange inspiration? But it really struck a chord with me (hehe :-D).

Theme: Please forgive us for selfishly binding a god to our side, because we greedily want to keep the god's gaze upon us.
