1.

The first time I met him, it was snowing.

We had agreed that if I went out to sea for fun, he would be my guide.

He didn't show up.

Neither did I.

2.

"This story is my diary, my essays, my memoir, or whatever else you want to call it. Let it serve as a tribute to the sunlike friend I met on that snowy day."

"Just thinking of it warms me. On Scania Island, where there is only spring and autumn, I still managed to encounter winter and summer."

Reading guide:

1. If no other idea takes my fancy, this will be my 2024 birthday fic for Ace.

2. No romance, just friendship. Ace's canon ending. The heroine and Ace meet by chance and are merely friends who have met once (probably). This is a story about the heroine looking back on the past.

3. 5k+ words. There is OOC and there are bugs, so please don't scrutinize the logic.

4. The cover is handwritten with a filter added. It's very rough (hides face).

Synopsis written on 2023.11.10, inspired by the first snowfall where I live.

Scheduled to publish: 2024.01.01 11:00:00

Theme: He was the summer I happened upon when I encountered a blizzard in spring.
