I Got Rich After Taking My Driving Test in the Underworld

When Ling Xuanxuan woke up, she discovered she was the fake heiress in a novel, destined to receive the full treatment: a broken engagement, public ridicule, and having everything stolen by the real heiress.

Ling Xuanxuan, destined to be a lonely pauper: Fine, whatever. No need to go through the motions. I’ll take care of it myself!

The only person in the world who had loved her, her birth mother, had died long ago, leaving Ling Xuanxuan only a beloved car she had treasured. So Ling Xuanxuan decided to get a driver’s license and start working for herself as a female rideshare driver.

It was just a way to make a living. Surely a job this down-to-earth was one the heiress of a wealthy family wouldn’t try to take from her?

She didn’t realize she’d taken a wrong turn and wandered straight to the edge of the Yellow Springs. Behind the illusion, the driving school’s name was written in four enormous blood-red characters: Underworld Driving School.

As Ling Xuanxuan started practicing for the third driving test, she looked at the blue-faced, fanged instructor beside her and rubbed her chin. “I didn’t know you were into cosplay. That’s pretty trendy.”

The instructor grinned, showing a mouthful of blood. “Right? It’s the Underworld’s new look.”

Ling Xuanxuan drove across the Bridge of Helplessness and marveled, “They’ve really changed up the test course this year. They even have a haunted-house theme.”

The King of Hell was stunned. “This mortal’s heart has no room for fear!”

Ling Xuanxuan, a staunch Marxist, looked at the driver’s license in her hand. “Gold-medal ferryman?”

Damn it, they tricked her into getting a fake license!

That night, a billionaire suddenly knocked on her door. “Please drive me to the afterlife! I’ll give you all my inheritance!”

Ling Xuanxuan, a fine young socialist, showed him the fake license in good conscience. “This is a fake license. It’ll send you straight to the Western Paradise...”

The billionaire wept with joy. “So you really are a gold-medal ferryman! Yes, yes, I want to go to the Western Paradise!”

Ling Xuanxuan: ???

The people waiting to watch Ling Xuanxuan fall into the dust discovered that she had suddenly become rich. The sparrow had turned into a phoenix again, and countless big shots began flocking around her.

And why had her ex-fiancé, Yue Jishu, a rising power in the wealthy circles who had actively broken off their engagement, suddenly become unable to have Ling Xuanxuan?

A fearless heroine who refuses to believe in ghosts x all kinds of sinister demons and monsters, with dark humor.
