All of Jiang Yao's friends said her childhood friend was like a big dog, wagging his tail wildly whenever he saw his owner.

Sometimes Jiang Yao thought so, too. Whenever she called out, “Xingxing, Xingxing,” no matter what he was doing, he'd immediately look at her and say with a smile, “Xingxing's right here.”

Just like his name, he was a planet orbiting around her.

Jiang Yao often rode on his head and bossed him around, but Cheng Xinghe always indulged her, letting her do as she pleased without getting angry.

Once, while they were shopping, Jiang Yao spotted a black leather choker in a store and suddenly wanted to see what it would look like around Cheng Xinghe's neck.

But when Cheng Xinghe actually put it on, Jiang Yao felt like something was missing.

For a while, Jiang Yao felt that something about her relationship with Cheng Xinghe was off. Very off.

She thought the two of them shared an unbreakable bond of revolutionary brotherhood, but the way he looked at her was growing more and more intense and heated, like a big, affectionate dog licking her cheek.

People around her often talked to Jiang Yao about Cheng Xinghe in private. He was tall and strong, yet he let a little girl like her bully him every day. Wasn't he kind of pathetic?

Jiang Yao had thought maybe they had a point, until one day he climbed into her bed and licked her neck with his hot, wet tongue, telling her that if she ever wanted to get rid of him, she'd have to kill him. Jiang Yao changed her mind.

After they started dating, he became a different person. He'd get jealous just from seeing her talk to another guy.

He was also difficult to appease, and always found new ways to tease and torment her.

She was often pinned against the wall, unable to move because of their size difference, and could only rise onto her tiptoes and let him do whatever he wanted.
