A Manga Extra Wants to Be a Chinese-Style Protagonist

Shen Wuyue Lan discovers that she is the most ordinary passerby in a manga: no lines, no identity, sometimes nothing more than a black silhouette. She could be a passerby stepping aside while some mafia chased a criminal, or part of the crowd watching a detective solve a case. In short, she is nothing but a complete plot device. The script has already decided that Shen Wuyue Lan can only be a puppet, following the manga's story, until one day her consciousness awakens. She wants to become the protagonist! As the protagonist, she needs a distinctive style, carefully crafted charisma, an unconventional personality, a tragic yet beautiful backstory, and an independent attitude that refuses to listen to anyone. Shen Wuyue Lan: Got it. I'm going to be a sweet-on-the-outside, dark-on-the-inside, fortune-telling jokester! I'll create my own character and design my own style! And so, a hugely popular character was born: dressed in a traditional Chinese-style outfit, wearing a little braid and Chinese-style tassel earrings on her left ear, and carrying a red umbrella. She carries an umbrella even in broad daylight, claiming to be from another planet. Wherever there's a case, she is sure to show up. Wherever there's a fight, she is sure to jump in. In short, wherever the manga's plot goes, she has a part to play! She's serious about stealing the spotlight! Thanks to the all-knowing, all-powerful perspective the manga gives her, Shen Wuyue Lan's behavior finally catches the attention of the important characters. And at that very moment, her silhouette finally appears in an inconspicuous manga panel. * [The new character has no face. Could that be foreshadowing? Their lines sound really important.] [Wow, a rare traditional Chinese-style outfit! What a fun look. They must be an important character.] [Hahaha, Shen Wuyue Lan really does know Chinese kung fu, and she says she's a Yato from another planet?? Hahaha, her personality is so fun and great. I love her.] [Don't even get me started. Compared with the other characters, her design is so bizarre. Even her contrast between personality and the effortless way she fights is one of a kind! I've decided, I'm voting for her in this popularity poll!] Theme: Educating and nurturing people, building prosperity and strength!
