When the Young Professor Meets Crime and Punishment

When Professor Moriarty, a Good Samaritan, Meets a Kindhearted Russian

Two wonderfully good people meet by chance

and decide together to save the world.

World: Seriously, thank you both so, so much! But please just leave me alone already! I'm really going to get [beep, ]!

Ramen: Mr. Moriarty, you are the kindest and most amiable gentleman I've ever met [smile]

Little Professor: Fedya, you're not bad yourself. It's been ages since I met a friend I got along with this well [smile ×2]

#Honestly, this is probably a story about an otherworldly romance [crossed out] fight that we mere mortals aren't worthy of understanding#

#Sorry, Mr. Holmes >_<#

#I know this may break up the canon pairing, but this couple is just too good#

P.S. I actually want to write this pairing as a contrast.

The Little Professor is someone whose moral compass is truly upright. He'll commit crimes to realize his ideals, but he'll feel guilty about it.

As for Dostoevsky, he's the sort who'll stop at nothing to achieve his goals. He sees through everything and looks down on most of it. A chaotic sort of person.

What they have in common is their noble ideals (in the end).

What sets them apart is their moral compass and their sense of guilt.

I thought this setup would be interesting, so I'm itching to write a story about struggle and descent.

Anyway, this P.S. should serve as a content warning. If I write anything strange later, I'll add to it. I should be able to maintain the overall quality, so feel free to add it to your collection and wait a few years for this foolish author to start writing~
