[Mainly Katekyo Hitman Reborn] How I Wooed the Greatest Martial Artist in the World

Xu Jihuang had a feeling that sooner or later, her dad was going to drive her crazy.

“By your generation, the Duankun Saber style will be extinct. Ah, back in my day, this technique was famous far and wide, all across the country...”

“That’s enough, Dad. You’ve gone on about it how many times now? And who practices saber techniques these days? Times have changed.”

For what felt like the thousandth time, Xu Jihuang shattered her father’s daydream.

“No way! I’ll keep going on about it! When are you going to give me a grandson? If you won’t learn, I can teach the next generation, can’t I?”

Xu Jihuang: “It’s daytime. Even dreaming needs limits.”

Xu Jihuang had always thought she and the martial world, kung fu, and all that were simply not meant to be. Then one day, her company suddenly exploded, and before she could even celebrate, life gave her a cruel twist: her materialistic worldview exploded right along with it.

After being forced to witness all manner of monsters running amok, with demons and Taoist priests throwing spells everywhere, Xu Jihuang could only curse her bad luck.

Damn it, if I’d known this would happen, I should’ve trained with a saber for ten years before coming to Japan.

Xu Jihuang’s first boyfriend: “Hello, sir. I studied economics and management.”

Xu’s father: “He looks slick. That guy’s a hooligan.”

Xu Jihuang’s second boyfriend: “Hello, sir. I studied art.”

Xu’s father: “He looks like a sissy. That guy’s a hooligan.”

Xu Jihuang’s male friend: “Hello, sir. I’m...”

Xu’s father: “Tsk, a hooligan.”

Friend: “??”

Xu Jihuang: “...Is getting married not part of your plans for my future? Fine by me.”

Until one day...

Feng: “Hello, I’m...”

Before her dad could give the handsome young man a disapproving once-over, Xu Jihuang pulled him aside.

“Dad, he’s won the martial arts championship in Hong Kong three years in a row! He didn’t win a fourth year because he didn’t compete! He practices boxing and fights for the Chajias!”

Xu’s dad: “Oh! Isn’t this my future son-in-law! As the saying goes, a son-in-law is half a son. Come, you two sit down. I’ll go cook something!”

The young couple: “...”

The male lead is Feng, one of the Rainbow Children. This is a crossover with lots of random series, and the original headcanons are as numerous as mountains. I’ll add more when I think of it.
