That Man's Scent (One-Shot)

A fanfic based on The Psychopath Diary. This story has no romantic pairing. I originally planned it as a Christmas gift story for The Psychopath Diary, but since it doesn't have a pairing, I didn't post it on Christmas. It's a short story.

Seo Moon Jo from Strangers from Hell makes a brief cameo.

I'm a silly internet user, and this story includes original headcanons and OOC characterization. If that's not your thing, please be gentle.

Synopsis:

As an executive at a conglomerate, Seo In Woo considers it a sign of respect for himself and others to put on some cologne before going out. That goes for before killing someone, too.

Life should have a sense of ceremony.

But he never expected his fragrant scent to cause him "trouble."

Yook Dong Shik gets into a car accident and loses his memory, but he's a wage slave, so he still has to go to work.

He thinks he can't remember anything, yet in the company elevator, he catches a familiar scent.

He loves it. He takes advantage of his daily commute to rule out, one by one, all the people who might be wearing that cologne.

At last, he finds him.

That scent has haunted his dreams! He must be the person he planned to target before he lost his memory!

After being cast aside for thirty years, Seo Moon Jo returns in triumph. He's going to kill every member of the Seo family.

Yook Dong Shik accidentally stops him from killing Seo In Woo. "How dare you steal my prey?!"

Seo Moon Jo: "..."
