He Must Love Me

[Yoo-shik 2021 Qixi Festival/23:59] He Must Really Love Me

Previous baton: @The King Told Me to Flirt

This is a one-shot written for Yoo-shik as a Qixi Festival Valentine's Day special.

Pairing: Seo In-woo x Yook Dong-sik from Diary of a Psychopath, Yoo-shik;

I'm a silly internet user, and this includes my own headcanons and OOC characterization. Please be gentle if it's not your thing.

Synopsis:

By day, Seo In-woo is a kind boss and a powerful ally who looks after Yook Dong-sik. By night, he's a hunter aiming a gun at him. He lives a deeply divided life.

By day, Yook Dong-sik is a sweet little office worker who does all the hard labor for Seo In-woo. By night, he's a stag that lowers his antlers and gores him. He lives an equally divided life.

When the hunter loses his disguise and his gun, will the stag pierce his chest with its antlers, hoist him overhead in triumph, and use the blood that flows from him as a new sash?

When the stag's antlers are sawed off and all four legs are bound, will the hunter keep him in captivity or slaughter him?

But a powerful hunter doesn't have only one gun.

And a stag's antlers will always grow back.

Love can be deception.

Deception can also be love.

There's no need to define it, and no winner or loser.

Theme: A happy ending built on misunderstanding.
