Supreme Star Consort

A daughter of the Nie family has come of age, raised deep in the mountains and unknown to the world.

Nie Ruxuan is a wild girl, raised in the mountains by her master. She calls herself the mountain king and lives a carefree life. Then one day, she's told of her true origins and goes from mountain king to the eldest young lady of a general's household, restricted at every turn. Her reaction: What a mess.

The one small consolation is that love is in the air.

On the Mid-Autumn Festival, she performs a sword dance that amazes everyone. The emperor asks her tenderly, "Would you be willing to stay in the palace?"

Nie Ruxuan thinks, Hah! As if I'd marry you, a ruler doomed to lose his country.

But she points ahead and says, "I've already fallen for someone."

Director Yin of the Imperial Astrological Bureau nearly topples over, his expression complicated. "Miss, I only recently arrived in Shudu, and we've met just twice. Marriage is no joke."

Nie Ruxuan gazes at him lovingly. "That's all right. Fate can bring together two people a thousand miles apart."

When Nie Ruxuan first entered the world of mortals, Yin Shaocheng captivated her and stole her heart. She never expected that this man would later destroy her family and bring down her country.
