In his twenty years of life, the person the young marquis Wei Zan understood least was his archenemy, Shen Yuan.

When he was at the height of his power, Shen Yuan envied him, resented him, and hated him.

But when Wei Zan hit rock bottom and lost everything, Shen Yuan risked everything to save him.

Wei Zan mocked him for going to such lengths.

“Shen Yuan is jealous by nature. Some people are mine to torment.”

That was what Shen Yuan said, laying even half his life on the line to clear a path for Wei Zan’s revenge.

Then, all at once, Wei Zan was reborn, back in his youth.

He was still the spirited young marquis, and Shen Yuan was still the sickly boy, all alone and consumed by jealousy.

Carrying the memories of his previous life, Wei Zan put on a completely different face and couldn’t help following Shen Yuan around, teasing him and warmly calling him “Big Brother Shen” at every turn.

Young Shen Yuan tightened his grip on the book in his hands, his gaze flickering as he looked at Wei Zan. At last, he gritted his teeth and spoke. “You know I’m narrow-minded and jealous.”

“I know.”

Wei Zan pecked him beside the ear, then smiled lazily. “But you can’t be jealous of anyone else.”

“You’re only allowed to be jealous of me.”
