A Kitten's Diary

An abandoned long story reworked into a short story: a kitten's great adventure in the human world.

-

The following is unrelated to the story proper. It's the original blurb, kept here for posterity.

Li Chaochao has terrible luck and even worse morals, and turns into a pretty little kitten.

The tiny kitten mews and wobbles as she tries to drink her milk, then tumbles headfirst into the bowl.

The owner who paid a fortune to buy Li Chaochao is speechless: ...

As a human, Li Chaochao was a pampered young lady. As a kitten, she intends to be a pampered kitten, too. But her owner is aloof and haughty, and pays no attention to the kitten at all. He has no heart.

The kitten grumbles and complains, with enough feline virtue to conquer the coldhearted CEO!

Watch her lick her fur, roll onto her back, blink her big eyes, and put on a cutesy voice. Soon she'll have her owner smitten with her soft, fluffy self.

Li Chaochao, after a successful conquest: I knew it! Nobody can resist cats! (The cat puts her paws on her hips.)

But once she's won her owner over, the kitten starts living the life of an office drone: every day when she gets home from work, her owner catches her and gives her a good squishing. The cat sighs. Sigh...

Still, setting that aside, Li Chaochao has a wonderful life: sleeping in, drinking milk, eating dried fish and canned cat food, then curling up on her human dad's chest at night to sleep. She can even suckle. Life couldn't be sweeter~

Until one day.

Li Chaochao sees her owner looking thoughtful: She suckles every day. I should get the kitten spayed.

Li Chaochao: Meow! (The lewd cat flops over.)

Theme: Live in harmony with nature and share a beautiful life.
