Chuchu was the illegitimate child of the Xie family.
After his mother died, his father, whom he had never met, brought him home to the Xie family.
The legitimate sons despised him for his unknown origins, so Chuchu became a plaything for the twins, who bullied and toyed with him every day.
The twin older brother looked at him coldly and said he had inherited his mother’s nature, calling him a little slut. Otherwise, why would he have been born with a face like that?
The twin younger brother treated him like a doll, manipulating his body and making him wear girls’ clothes. He wouldn’t let Chuchu play with anyone else.
The twins kept Chuchu under their control and raised him in secret. No one else knew that the Xie family had someone called Chuchu.
The twins had a pair of friends who were brothers, too.
The older brother was gentle and kind to him. He slipped Chuchu candy, soothed him to sleep, and even took his hand when the twins forbade anyone else from speaking to him.
The younger brother was gloomy and unpredictable, cut from the same cloth as the twins. He stared at Chuchu ominously and even asked his father to give Chuchu to him.
Chuchu liked the older brother. Chuchu only liked the older brother.
But before he could even finish university, bad men took him home and locked him up, filling him again and again, day after day.
At last, Chuchu couldn’t take it anymore. He escaped again. He had coaxed them into removing the shackles from his ankles the night before. He was going to elope with the older brother. He would never let those people lock him up again.
As he fled, they chased him in their cars. The wind, the revving engines, and the sound of waves filled his ears. Chuchu heard their threats and their pleas.
His hands trembled and trembled, until he finally drove into the sea. The car was wrecked, and everyone inside died.
When Chuchu opened his eyes again, he had returned to the time when he had just started middle school.
At that point, the bad men had yet to reveal their other desires and intentions toward him. Chuchu was terrified, but did his best to navigate the situation.
At last, he got what he wanted. A few years later, Chuchu and the older brother became a couple and were about to walk down the aisle.
But just then, those people began recovering their memories from their past lives, one after another.
Chuchu couldn’t stop crying. He didn’t want the cage from his past life. He didn’t need their filthy, lustful sweet talk, nor their glittering jewels and other people’s fear and respect.
Most importantly, he didn’t like them.
Content warnings and reading guide:
1. This is the author’s own twisted, dark indulgence: tormenting a poor, delicate beauty and having the possessive love interests get cheated on.
2. In the past life, it was forced love from beginning to end. The protagonist died in the end, and the bad men couldn’t live with that, so they promptly died for love too (a disgrace to the idea of dying for love).
3. All the love interests are so controlling it’s pathological.
4. The protagonist is not an illegitimate child. He is not related to the twins by blood, otherwise I couldn’t write this.
5. There are too many potential triggers to list. That’ll do for now.
