Immortals Aren't Allowed to Fall in Love!

Hou Yu was the Heavenly Court's enforcement deity, in charge of its laws and regulations. One day, a strange voice suddenly sounded in Hou Yu's head. "Your divine awareness is too powerful. Your inner consciousness has awakened." The voice told her that the world she lived in was actually a book. The book had several pairs of protagonists. First, the Demon Lord and his fairy lover; Second, the Wind God and his demoness lover; Third, the Daoist Lord of Cultivation and his young disciple; Without exception, all of them were in forbidden relationships, and their love lives were full of hardships. She tormented him, he tormented her, she was tormented to death by him, and in the end he wanted to bury the entire world with her. Yes, all the male leads had the same iconic line: "I'll destroy this world and make it your funeral offering!" Ah, what a moving love story... Yeah, right. After reading the plot, Hou Yu was left with a head full of questions. If they really loved each other that much, why not just die together? What did their rotten romance have to do with the world? What had the people of the world ever done to him? "Your mission is to create romantic complications for the male and female leads and follow the plot according to the timeline." Hou Yu: "?" Fine. Create complications, was it? Hou Yu opened a class in the Heavenly Court, specifically to teach views on marriage and having children. Hou Yu: "According to the laws of Heaven, immortals aren't allowed to fall in love. If you insist on doing so, your immortal bones will be stripped away and your immortal tendons pulled out. Choose one for yourself first." Little Fairy: "...Anyone who falls in love is an idiot." System: ??? Hou Yu: Is this enough romantic complication for you? System: She's the female lead. If she thinks like that, how is she supposed to fall in love? The Demon Lord discovered that the little fairy who had secretly admired him for ages was suddenly avoiding him. She didn't reply to his messages or answer his voice calls. Whenever he asked, she said she had to study. Impossible. The little fairy was clearly his destined match. Someone had to be deliberately interfering! He was furious. He would destroy the world and force the little fairy to come out! Hmm? Destroy the world? The moment Hou Yu heard those key words, she marched over and slapped him hard. If you don't get a good slap, you'll never understand why your face is so red. The male lead was beaten half to death. The System panicked. "He's the male lead!" "The male lead?" Hou Yu sneered. "You know how the Jade Emperor once broke the laws of Heaven and insisted on bringing a flower demon into the Heavenly Court? I hit him over the head with a club." Fall in love? Not even the Emperor of Heaven gets to do that. Theme: Rights and responsibilities go hand in hand.
