Ye Qihong has a neighbor boy, Qiu Jing, whom he's watched grow up since childhood. Qiu Jing is five years younger than him.

The year Ye Qihong graduated from university and Qiu Jing turned seventeen, two things happened.

First, Qiu Jing presented as an S+ alpha.

Second, Qiu Jing was convinced he was an omega.

Denying one's secondary gender is detrimental to a young person's mental and physical development. Ye Qihong resolutely took on the responsibility of guiding him through counseling.

He taught him biology, bought him blocker patches that looked like something an omega would wear, and even cooked for him and waited for him to finish evening study when Ye Qihong himself was in heat. Qiu Jing watched Ye Qihong's eyes, filled with him, his smiling face, the way he called Qiu Jing's name, and the faint trace of pheromones in the air. The resentment in his heart changed, day by day, into something else.
