Sesshomaru's Cub-Raising Plan

New work by the Dog Brothers! Please add “The Powerful Figures I Picked Up Are All Helping My Brother Build a City” to your collection!

Sesshomaru once happened to glimpse his own experiences in a parallel world. After waking, he sat quietly for a while, then took up Tenseiga and went to see his younger brother, who was still a puppy.

After watching him silently for three days and three nights, he finally appeared before his half-demon brother, who was in a sorry state and being chased by weak yokai. He grabbed the filthy half-demon by the belt and wiped out the lowly yokai with a single strike.

Sesshomaru: My foolish little brother, starting today, your hellish training begins.

Puppy: O-nii... chan? [Innocent, clueless, weak, and pitiful.jpg]

From then on...

Kenjaku and Uraume, secretly plotting to revive the King of Curses, were picked up by Sesshomaru, who happened to pass by, and turned into whetstones for his half-demon brother.

Bangs / Kenjaku: It never occurred to me before, but a yokai's body ought to be strong enough to hold all of Ryomen Sukuna's fingers and bring him back to life.

Puppy: Awooo! [Puppy roar.jpg]

Sesshomaru: An attack this weak makes people think I haven't been feeding you enough. Watch closely: Azure Dragon Strike.

Bangs / Kenjaku: !!! Wait!! Weren't we supposed to have a little-kid protagonist?!!

The Demon King, in the middle of his active period, decides to snatch a few powerful-bloodline yokai pups for a snack, to see whether yokai blood tastes as good as their parents are strong.

Sesshomaru: There's an inferior yokai here who's been stealing pups lately. Catch him and kill him.

Puppy: Awoo~ (Wanders off alone and gets caught, ending up in front of the Demon King) Iron-Reaver Soul Stealer!

The Demon King: Whose stupid dog just showed up to be my extra meal?

Sesshomaru, following not too close and not too far behind his brother with his presence concealed: ...Meido Zangetsuha.

The Demon King: Wait!!! It wasn't me, I didn't do it, I didn't catch this one!!! Aaaaaah!!!! You useless fools, hurry up and save me!!!!

Warnings before reading:

1. A crossover setting with lots of author-created elements. The brothers get huge golden fingers, and this is a feel-good story about raising kids (not really).

2. The brothers grow closer and stop constantly clashing, but they still argue and talk back to each other.

3. Since they're canines, the brothers sometimes, ahem... act more doglike. And kids sometimes do things that make no sense. If they don't match the image of the brothers you have in mind, let's part on good terms. Please.

Thesis: Let's build a better society together!
