The Dads’ Love Story [Mystery]

Lin Yuxian is a renowned painter and designer in the industry. While his husband is away on a business trip, he grabs his fourteen-year-old daughter, Lin Zhi, and talks her ear off about their love story.

His eyes are full of starlight. He has none of the maturity or composure of a forty-year-old man, and the unruly hair hanging over his shoulders makes him look even more smug and pleased with himself. "Don't worry, honey. If anything gets too spicy, your dad will bleep it out himself."

Lin Zhi rolls her eyes as she hears one unbelievable story after another:

Loyal childhood sweetheart from high school √

Showbiz darling √

A big shot with a mechanical prosthetic hand √

Sugar daddy √

An upstanding young police officer √

Lin Yuxian lives up to his name, giving himself virtue and wisdom, and giving Lin Zhi the salty, sticky details of the adult world.

All that bleeping was for nothing.

Lin Zhi finally catches on. "Dad, you've told me all these stories, but what's my other dad's name?"

Lin Yuxian's lips curve. "Guess. Which one is your other dad?"

"Are you telling me to buy shares?!"

Their faces slowly merge and rearrange, like a painting by Georges Seurat. Among tens of thousands of finely placed colored dots, they balance and constrain each other until they form a clear, orderly image.

Amid an order filled with chaos, they come together to become the one and only "him" in Lin Yuxian's eyes.

All of them.
