The General Becomes Empress

Xu Yu and Gu Changzhong guarded the border between Zhou and Yao. The two nations had fought countless battles over the past decade, with victory going to each side in turn. Gu Changzhong was Great Yao's God of War. With him there, even though Great Yao was rotten to the core, Xu Yu could not break through. Xu Yu had always regarded Gu Changzhong as a thorn in his side, desperate to remove him. Gu Changzhong felt the same way about Xu Yu. Until one day, Gu Changzhong lost his reinforcements and ran out of provisions, while his own men hunted him down. Xu Yu waited for news of Gu Changzhong's death in battle, only to hear that Gu Changzhong had broken his battle standard, torn up the imperial edict, and rebelled. Great Yao changed hands. Gu Changzhong ascended the throne as its new emperor, renamed the country Great Yu, and took the title Martial Emperor. A month after ascending the throne, the Martial Emperor sent two documents to Great Zhou: a marriage proposal asking for the renowned Great Zhou general Xu Yu's hand in marriage, and a truce agreement. Xu Yu had been riding into battle for as long as he could remember. Now, to put an end to the war, he had no choice but to take off his armor, put on wedding robes, and marry into Great Yu as its empress. On their wedding night, Gu Changzhong demanded of Xu Yu, "Tell me, who won?" Xu Yu is the bottom, Gu Changzhong is the top. One-on-one, happy ending. Theme: The people's interests come first.
