The Eerie Novelist [Infinite]

A writer's offline event sent out five invitations to five somewhat well-known online novelists from different genres.

When they arrived, they were told they had entered a horror game: "If you can survive for seven days, we'll send you home."

"But on the seventh day, there'll be a little surprise."

Horror novelist: "...You're all pretty brave."

The other novelists: Are you kidding? We're super brave!

The girl who wrote about technological advancement and national strength tied up her long hair. "My family has a long tradition of studying yin-yang arts."

The romance novelist, known for his nuanced emotions, said, "I'm into sports."

The writer of breezy wish-fulfillment fiction had a ghostly air about him. "I used to write hardcore horror."

The online game novelist said, "My main job is running a folk-tales-and-urban-legends account. I've seen it all."

Horror novelist: "Damn."

They had to enter different eerie instances every day. At first, they supported one another and were lucky enough to clear them all.

On the third day after entering this place, the most useless person there, the horror novelist, discovered the little surprise the mastermind had mentioned ahead of time...

One of the five people present was a vicious ghost, and its mission was to survive until the seventh day.

Who was the ghost?

Looking at the people who had been relying on one another for survival, the horror novelist held his breath in fear.

1. Possibly a short infinite-flow story, with one instance each day. Time inside the instances does not match the time in the real world.

2. Folk-horror themes
