Kissing Monsters [Infinite]

Mu Li found a pale, gaunt, handsome man among a horde of ghosts.

“Don’t worry. Stay close to me.” He grabbed the man by the wrist and escaped with him from danger.

When they met again, the taciturn man had become a decadent, bewitching duke. His eyes were half-lidded with indifference, and a wave of his cane could mean death for one of his subordinates.

“I’m finding it harder and harder to tell who I am,” Yun Chao said, his voice trembling. “When that time comes, can you kill me?”

The Lord God had plenty of ways to torment someone worse than simply killing them.

Mu Li, however, was the sort of person who saw bullets raining down before him as dazzling fireworks.

He brushed his cheek against the duke’s silver cane, kissed the terrifying monster in a cold, damp corner, and pulled down his collar to let the skeletal Grim Reaper bite him with reverence.

“In your dreams. We might as well die together.” He passed over his cigarette, earning a cough from the other man and dispelling the gloom.

Someone nearby cursed under their breath. “Damn, that thing’s disgusting.”

Mu Li narrowed his eyes and studied the thing they meant: a monster with eyes glowing in the dark and a mouth full of writhing tentacles. Yet all he could think about was how their kiss had felt.

1. A horror-themed survival game.

2. The protagonist is an ordinary person who gets battered and bruised at every turn, but he’s the type to taunt his enemies even while coughing up blood. He’s very much not one to behave.

Theme: Never give up when faced with difficulties.
