There Are Butterflies in His Stomach

Lately, Bai Yan has always felt as though there's a butterfly in his stomach.

He can hear its wings fluttering, but everyone else says he's sick.

Troubled, Bai Yan visits a therapist and praises his friend to the doctor: "It's a brilliant metallic blue. If you saw it, you'd fall in love with it too."

His counselor arranges a leave of absence for him and tells him to get plenty of rest.

But not long after leaving campus, he is caught up in a horrific pileup. When he opens his eyes, he sees bodies mangled beyond recognition.

"I've found you, Mr. Butterfly." He wraps his arms around the lean waist of the person in front of him and refuses to let go.

The mixed-race beauty with a ponytail: "...Let go. You're sitting on my hair."

"..."
