This Beta Is Excessively Lazy

[My Life Took a Sudden Turn is now open for collection. Please add it to your reading list~]

Jiang Chen is a bona fide Beta. His grades are average, and he lives a thoroughly laid-back life. Every day, he's either sleepy or on his way to getting sleepy, always looking half-asleep.

He has a childhood friend, Gu Xin, an Alpha with excellent grades who has held the top spot in their year for ages.

Not long after the start of their first year of high school, Gu Xin receives a love letter from the Omega school beauty.

Jiang Chen leans limply against his back, opens his peach-blossom eyes, which are often heavy with sleep, and speaks at Gu Xin's ear in a sarcastic tone. “Gu Xin, another love letter?”

Gu Xin's ears turn hot. He reaches back and lightly presses Jiang Chen's head. “Stand up straight.”

The bottom is a little gloomy, a little laid-back, and a little goofy. The scariest part is that the top indulges him.

An Alpha-Beta romance, with no turning into an Omega. A super-sweet school romance with mutual feelings and a slice-of-life feel.

We don't encourage high schoolers to date, so the leads won't get together until they're both 18~~

My Life Took a Sudden Turn

High schoolers Bai Tu and Jiang Shen, both hurt by their families, are tricked by a shady research institute into signing a donation agreement to contribute their genes to humanity.

By chance, the two form a group together through an idol competition show.

A year later, the group disbands and they go their separate ways. Bai Tu becomes a 108th-tier male star in the entertainment industry, practically unknown, while Jiang Shen becomes a hugely popular top-tier star.

On the fifth anniversary of their debut, the director of the shady research institute, now facing bankruptcy, tracks them down and gives them a grand gift!

“This is the final result of your great contributions to humanity!”

Bai Tu and Jiang Shen: ...

The great result: a three-month-old baby who shares both their genes.

One day, the two appear on the same livestream show.

Suddenly, a little child in the audience opens their arms and toddles toward them, shouting cheerfully, “Daddy~”

They both rush forward at the same time to catch the child.

Jiang Shen: That's right. Bai Tu and I are raising a child together.

The whole internet is stunned!

Theme: Youth is beautiful. Don't waste it.
