I Transmigrated into a Matchmaking Story as a Guard, Only to Get Matched Myself

Chen Xu transmigrates into a cannon-fodder guard in a matchmaking novel.

The good news: He's bound to a matchmaking System. For every couple he brings together, he earns a certain number of points.

The bad news: He needs 10,000 points to get home.

Chen Xu: Isn't this just a game of matching pairs? Easy.

Pair Big Yellow and Little Black from the manor, and earn 1 point.

Pair Little Meow and Big Kitty from the roadside, and earn 1 point.

When will this ever end?

[System: Match your fellow guard with the maid Xiaocui. Reward: 100 points.]

System prompt: Choose a way to help them get together:

A. Bring flowers to Xiaocui on your fellow guard's behalf every day.

B. Bring late-night snacks to the guard on Xiaocui's behalf every day.

C. Choose all of the above.

Chen Xu chooses C and diligently delivers them for half a month.

His fellow guard stops him, blushing. "Chen Xu, you haven't brought me food these past few days... Are you avoiding me?"

Xiaocui corners him, clutching her skirt. "Chen Xu, you've been secretly watching me every day... Do you want to see me?"

Chen Xu: "I want to go home!!!"

System: [Task failed. Points -100.]

[System: Match the Crown Prince with the general. Reward: 1,000 points.]

System prompt: Create an opportunity for them to be alone together:

A. Lure the Crown Prince to the imperial garden.

B. Lure the general to the imperial garden.

C. Lock them both in the imperial garden.

Chen Xu chooses A, B, and C.

The Crown Prince grabs his wrist. "You keep appearing in front of me again and again. Are you plotting something against me?"

The general grabs his collar. "You went to all that trouble to lure me here. What are you hiding?"

Chen Xu: "My heart belongs to home!!!"

Everyone: "No, your heart belongs to me."
