After Ascending to Godhood, I Became the Heavenly Queen

● Probably a short novel (100,000–200,000 characters)

After Chi Yan ascends to godhood, he throws a grand banquet. The Heavenly Emperor Huai Shuang comes to congratulate him, and the two spend a passionate night together.

When Chi Yan wakes up, he finds himself in bed with the Heavenly Emperor, who has him in his arms. Neither of them is wearing any clothes!

Chi Yan has no memory at all of the night before.

And nobody ever told him the Heavenly Emperor liked men!

Huai Shuang: "Don't worry. I will take responsibility for you."

Chi Yan: "..."

The very next day, Chi Yan's family receives a betrothal gift from the Heavenly Emperor.

Terrified, Chi Yan flees to the mortal realm in the middle of the night.

Huai Shuang takes the form of a mountain spirit, befriends Chi Yan, and keeps him company for a thousand years.

When the God of War gets married, Chi Yan returns to the Celestial Realm for the wedding banquet, only to end up in bed with Huai Shuang again.

Huai Shuang: "Don't worry. I'll announce it to the Six Realms today and make you my Heavenly Empress."

Chi Yan: "..." Who wants to be your Heavenly Empress?

Chi Yan flees to the mortal realm again and drinks under the moon with Huai Shuang, pouring out his woes.

To his surprise, when he wakes up, he finds himself in bed with Huai Shuang.

Huai Shuang: "Don't worry. I'll take responsibility for you."

Chi Yan: "Why does that sound so familiar?"

Huai Shuang: "If you marry me, the Heavenly Emperor will give up on you."

So Chi Yan and Huai Shuang pledge their lives to each other in the Matchmaker's marriage register.

The Matchmaker: "Congratulations, Your Majesty. May the Heavenly Emperor and Empress enjoy a hundred years of wedded bliss."

Chi Yan: "What Heavenly Emperor and Empress? Matchmaker, what are you talking about? I don't understand."

Huai Shuang: "Chi Yan, you are the only Heavenly Empress I will ever have."

Chi Yan: "Huai Shuang!!!! I'm going to kill you, you bastard! You deceived me for a thousand years!"
